| The handset is what each player uses to tag their opponents. |
| When players pull the trigger, a red laser beam is emitted from the handset. This is the "sighting device" players use to aim at the sensors on each other's equipment. |
| Notice the handset has two handles. This is because the handset is made to be held and used with both hands. "One handing" is a serious safety rule violation, and will get the player removed from the game. |
